LAKE MARREN, La. — Lakeside Hardware today announced the grand opening of its newly expanded garden center, adding 4,000 square feet of nursery and outdoor-living space to its Main Street location.
The new center features regional plants suited to the Southwest Louisiana climate, patio furniture, grills and a full lawn-and-garden department staffed by local horticulture specialists.
"Lake Marren families have supported us for years, and this expansion is our way of investing right back into the community," said a store representative. "We wanted to create a place where neighbors can get expert advice and everything they need for their yard in one stop."
The garden center is open seven days a week. A community open house with giveaways and family activities is planned for opening weekend.
